Elan 42T 4-B

Elan has developed a new type of chainring in-house, especially for Rohloff and other ‘single-speed’ drivetrains.

By maximizing the width of the ‘narrow-wide’ teeth, the hard-aluminum chainring wears considerably less than standard aluminum chainrings.

The use of high-quality and wear-resistant aluminum keeps the weight low. 

The chainrings are available in 36, 38, 40, and 42 teeth and use a 104 mm bolt pattern for the usual 4-arm cranksets. 

Please note that due to the wider teeth, the Elan chainring only fits 7, 8, and 9-speed chains and the KMC E1 chain.
